Well done to all divers who competed at the Middlesex county open competition on Sunday 10th March. It was an early start with Group 1 (advanced) starting at 8 am. It saw Caleb competing in the B+ (14/16) boys and Madeline competing in the B+ (14/16) Girls. Caleb scored 165.15 winning the gold medal and Madeline scored 139.40 coming 2nd in their respective groups.
Next up were Group 4 (beginner) girls. We had 6 divers competing in this group, 4 in age group D (10-11) Betsy, Erin, Izzi, Luna and 2 in B+ (14/16) Defne and Japleen. It was the girls first or second competition and all divers gave fantastic performances with Betsy coming 1st with a score of 104.00, Erin came 3rd with 101.50, Izzi just missing out on a medal by 4 points with 97.50. Luna came 5th with 89.00. Defne came 2nd with a score of 92.50 with Japleen coming a close 3rd place with 92.50.
Group 4 boys. Tegveer won his age group E (8-9) with a score of 89.00. D boys saw Leon, Joe, and Kaustubh compete. Joe came 1st with 89.50, Leon came 3rd with 88.50 and Kaustubh came 5th with 83.00.
We only had one diver in Group 3. Ryan came 2nd with a score on 79.00.
In group 2 we had Lottie and Ella in the girls and Hasan in the boys. Lottie came 3rd with a score of 241.00 and Ella just missing out on a medal in 4th place with 236.35. Hasan Scored 192.50 coming 5th.
